CHOOSING AN INFERTILITY SPECIALIST/PROGRAM:
Selecting an infertility specialist and program to help you become pregnant is an important decision. There are a number of considerations, including qualifications and experience, support services available, cost, convenience and rate of successful pregnancies.
By this time, you have likely done a fair amount of research. In anticipation of some of your questions, let us provide you with some answers. The Reproductive Center meets all American Society for Reproductive Medicine standards. Our doctors are board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology, and have experience in performing microsurgery. We pride ourselves in being able to offer comprehensive reproductive health services at rates far lower than other comparable practices, including surgical procedures, if necessary. We offer appointment schedules to accommodate your busy life and are available day and night to take you call. We also offer counseling and support service through every step of the process.
INFERTILITY SERVICES OFFERED:
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
Involves the union of sperm and eggs in the laboratory with transfer directly to the womb. Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) assists couples with very low sperm counts. Assisted embryo hatching is also available.
Embryo Freezing
Allows storage of fertilized eggs for future transfer, improving the chance for pregnancy and lowering the risk of multiple pregnancy.
Advanced Embryo (Blastocyst) Transfer
The latest IVF technique.
Donor Egg and Donor Sperm
Programs are available for patients who have poor or absent egg or sperm production. Donors undergo extensive screening according to established national guidelines.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Involves the transfer into the womb of actively moving sperm, which have been separated from the semen.
Gestational Carrier Program
Available for patients who have abnormal wombs, or do not have a womb (hysterectomy) but still have their ovaries.
Operative and Laser Laparoscopy
An outpatient procedure using 1/2 inch incisions to remove pelvic disease like endometriosis and adhesions.
Reversal of Tubal Ligation
Involves making an incision to remove the obstructed pieces of tube and reuniting both ends using a microscope to establish patency.
PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis)
